Capital One partners with premium travel company PRIOR, bringing exclusive benefits to the Venture X Card

In early 2022, Capital One introduced its proprietary entertainment platform, aptly titled Capital One Entertainment. Capital One Entertainment allows eligible cardholders to reserve tickets for sporting events, Broadway shows, concerts, dining events, and more. And you can redeem both Capital One miles (at a rate of 0.8 cents per mile) and Capital One cash back for your entertainment.

Capital One is now enhancing this entertainment portal for anyone with the Capital One Venture X Rewards credit card. He teams up with PRIOR, a luxury travel agency that organizes experiences with a focus on local culture. You’ll be able to book exclusive trips built by PRIOR, and you’ll even get a subscription that costs $149 per year.

Capital One Venture X cardholders now have access to PRIOR

Inside Capital One Entertainment offers exclusive experiences that you cannot book without certain Capital One credit cards.

The Capital One Venture X Rewards credit card is the only card that offers “premium” packages that can only be booked with miles (things like back-to-back seats to NCAA Final Four games, tickets to concerts with access to a sound check with the main artist, etc.).

Capital One is further widening the gap between the Capital One Venture X Rewards credit card and its other cards with exclusive access to PRIOR:

Per Capital One, here are the first three routes you can expect to book through this partnership:

Savanna stay: 23 – 26 March 2023

This trip includes a stay at the Perry Lane Hotel, plus a decadent black-tie dinner and jazz show at a historic Savannah mansion, cocktails, and dinner on a private patio overlooking historic Savannah at the iconic The Olde Pink House, followed by a nightcap at the haunted Cellar Bar. Also included are experiences like a Savannah African-American History Underground Walking Experience with a Gullah Geechee Master Storyteller, followed by a private performance and a traditional Low Country boil.

Sun Valley Trip: June 29 – July 2, 2023

The trip to Sun Valley begins with a stay at the historic Sun Valley Lodge and a private dinner (via gondola up Mount Baldy!) at the Roundhouse followed by stargazing on the terrace. Guests can also take a wildflower walk to the top of Dollar Mountain to a local trout barbecue, participate in a catch-and-release fly-fishing experience led by local experts, and enjoy from a private pontoon boat ride or a kayaking adventure across Redfish Lake to a picnic on the private beach.

Napa and Sonoma trip: October 19-22, 2023

Guests experiencing the trip to Napa and Sonoma will be accommodated at the Madrona. The trip includes privileged access to established and emerging wineries and winemakers accompanied by a master sommelier. Other highlights include a dining experience at Hudson Ranch, with a tour of a large private art collection. Guests will also be able to partake in an oyster harvest and tasting in Tomales Bay, a chef-prepared lunch at Chez Panisse in the vineyards, and a private dinner at the award-winning Single Thread Restaurant in Sonoma.
